What is Map My Mole?
Map My Mole is an advanced skin imaging service that uses high-resolution photography and dermoscopic analysis to assess moles and skin lesions.
Images are securely reviewed by a consultant dermatologist, who provides a detailed report indicating whether any mole appears normal or requires further investigation.
This is not a diagnosis, but a highly effective screening tool to help you decide if medical follow-up is needed.
Who is it for?
This service is ideal if you:
-
Have moles you want checked for reassurance
-
Have noticed a mole that has changed in size, shape, or colour
-
Have multiple moles and want a professional overview
-
Have a personal or family history of skin cancer
-
Spend a lot of time in the sun or use sunbeds (past or present)
Step 1: Consultation
We’ll discuss your concerns and identify any moles you’d like checked.
Step 2: Imaging
We take close-up dermoscopic images of each mole using specialist equipment. This allows for a much more detailed view than the naked eye.
Step 3: Submission
Your images are securely uploaded to the Map My Mole platform and reviewed remotely by a UK consultant dermatologist.
Step 4: Your Results
You’ll receive a detailed report within a few days, outlining:
-
Whether each mole appears normal
-
If monitoring is recommended
-
If further medical investigation is advised
